HELP!!! basic info needed...

by Rebecca
(Ithaca, NY)

Hi,

My sisters and I are making a scrapbook for my parents 40th anniversary coming up in July. Our idea is to send one 8.5x11 cardstock page to almost everyone we know who has been a part of our parents lives since the beginning.

We want them to fill out one side of the page however they want and then we will pull it all together, add some goodies, photos, etc. depending on what people do.

Here are some questions I have...

Do you think it makes sense to use a 12x12 album so there is some background space for additional decorations since we really dont know what people will do with their pages? or just a 8x11 album...

Is there a specific type of album that is best to use? one that allows for maybe up to 50 pages?

We are willing to spend some good money on this project considering we have such amazing parents so I would love a referral of really great quality, materials etc. but i also love a good deal!

We were assuming we should use an album with the plastic inserts you put the pages in so then we can put two peoples pages in so it looks double sided? is this what you would recommend?

thank you!
